Testosterone therapy, done properly.

The most established treatment in hormone medicine, and the most important one to do properly: labs before anything is prescribed, a fertility conversation first, and monitoring for as long as you are treated. Your first visit is free.

Book online in about two minutes, or call the practice on (813) 872-6093.

What it is, here

The same door for everything.

Testosterone therapy restores testosterone to a healthy range when your labs and your symptoms both say it has fallen below one. That “both” matters: a number alone is not a reason to treat, and neither is a feeling alone. Your physician reads the two together at your consultation and once your baseline panel is back.

Before anything begins we talk about fertility, because replacement therapy can suppress your own production. For men who want to preserve it, enclomiphene — which prompts your body to raise its own output — is often the first thing we reach for instead. That distinction is raised at the first visit, not after.

Treatment is a weekly or twice-weekly injection, self-administered once we have taught you or given in clinic if you prefer, with bloodwork at six weeks and then quarterly. Adjustments are the normal course of treatment. It is direct-pay and priced at your consultation, with no contract.

Who it is for

You are probably not starting from zero.

Your drive and energy have quietly dropped

Over a few years, with no single event to point at, and your training no longer returns what it used to.

You want it monitored, not just prescribed

Labs at six weeks and quarterly, a physician who reads them, and a plan that changes when the numbers say so.

Fertility is part of the picture

You want the replacement-versus-support conversation before you start, not a surprise later.

How it works

Four steps, in this order, every time.

Nothing is prescribed before your bloodwork is back. That single rule shapes the whole process.

  1. 01Today

    Book your free consultation

Online in a couple of minutes, or by phone, and your first visit is free. No account to create — and if we are not the right fit for what you want, we will tell you plainly.

  2. 02First visit

    Consultation and labs

Forty-five minutes with your physician, unhurried. You will leave knowing what we are testing for and why, with your baseline labs ordered the same day.

  3. 03Once your labs are back

    Your protocol

Written once your labs are back, never before — the labs are what turn a general idea into your specific protocol. Your first month is ready to collect at the practice.

  4. 04Every month

    Monthly check-ins

Each month you collect your next vial at the practice and check in with your physician — in person, or by a short telehealth call scheduled through the practice. We adjust as you go.

On the menu

Plainly described, and priced.

Testosterone therapy and enclomiphene are the two approaches your physician will discuss; which is right depends on your labs and your plans. Both are priced at your consultation.

Every protocol is physician-supervised and prescribed only after an individual evaluation. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved products.

Your physician

Cameron Heyd, DO

This service line is led by Dr. Heyd, who sees every patient personally and writes every protocol from your labs. There is no questionnaire that routes you to a product, and no algorithm deciding what you are prescribed.

He practices within Castellano Cosmetic Surgery Center, under the direction of Dr. Castellano — the same standard of assessment the practice has applied in Tampa for years, applied to how you feel rather than only to how you look.

Questions

The things people ask first.

If yours is not here, call the practice on (813) 872-6093.

Can I start testosterone at my first visit?

No. Nothing is prescribed before your bloodwork is back. The first visit is your consultation and your lab order; your protocol is written from the results.

Will I have to inject myself?

Most patients do, weekly or twice weekly, after we have taught them at the practice. If you prefer, injections can be given in clinic.

What if I want children later?

Tell us at the first visit. Replacement therapy can suppress your own production, so for men who want to preserve fertility your physician will usually discuss enclomiphene first.

How often are labs repeated?

At six weeks and then quarterly, for as long as you are treated. Monitoring is part of the care, not an add-on.
